One of the ways I break down a scene before I begin modeling is by assigning each material a color in Photoshop if I have a concept. This helps me figure out how long an environment will take and the scope of the work I'm in for.

Greenhouse was an environment piece I created in my final 6 months at Gnomon. When I saw the illustration by Sayaka Ouhito, I knew I had to do it. I took some liberties to make this piece my own and I'm happy with the results. This project was a great exercise in lighting in Unreal Engine 4 and stylized modeling.
